A member of the Dracaena family, this durable plant can easily be mistaken for a palm plant. This carefree plant is a strong upright, evergreen shrub with a stout tan stem topped by a rosette on long, sword-shaped leaves. Narrow and arching, the shiny leaves are striped with golden yellow down their centre. It thrives in a large range of environments and is great for adding a tropical appearance to any room. Dracaena fragrans Massangeana is also called the corn plant or the Happy Plant because of its easy-to-care nature and the zesty freshness of the yellow and green strappy leaves that brighten up the home or office interiors, whilst filtering toxins from the atmosphere so you breathe easier.
It is a popular ornamental houseplant grown both indoors and outdoor plants in subtropical climates. It has a stalky stem with long green leaves with light yellow strips running through the stem. It is easy to grow plant that requires little maintenance.

This plant should be grown in bright indirect sunlight but is known to tolerate lower light levels.Water only when the soil feels dry to touch. The soil must never be allowed to dry out completely.It requires well-drained soil rich in organic matter.15 - 25°CDuring the main growing season feed the plant with organic fertilizer once a month.
