Aloe vera is a succulent plant species of the genus Aloe. The plant is stemless or very short-stemmed with thick, greenish, fleshy leaves that fan out from the plant’s central stem. The margin of the leaf is serrated with small teeth. An Aloe Vera is succulent-like cactus that has many health benefits. They don't just look great, but you can also use them to treat burns and has other health benefits.
People have been growing aloe vera plants for literally thousands of years. It is one of the most widely used medicinal plants on the planet. The aloe vera plant is an easy, attractive succulent that makes for a great indoor companion. Aloe vera plants are useful, too, as the juice from their leaves can be used to relieve pain from scrapes and burns when applied topically.

Aloe also does fine in areas with indirect sunlight. Aloe in full shade will not thrive.
Wait until the soil is dry at least two inches below the surface, then water slowly and deeply until you see water coming through the drainage holes.
The best soil for an Aloe Vera is cactus soil: a lot of Perlite and/or sand mixed in with potting soil.
