Jatropha integerrima is a perennial evergreen shrub from the genus Jatropha and is often trained to grow as a small tree. The simple green leaves grow in an alternating arrangement along the stems. They are shrubs with succulent stems that reach 1 meter in height indoors and 2-3 meters outdoors.
They have shiny dark green trilobed leaves with very marked veins and produces year-around, upright clusters of bright red, star-shaped flowers that attract bees and butterflies. It also produces small, red seed capsules or berries that contain toxins. Jatropha can be grown in large containers on decks or patios.

Integerrima performs best in full sun frost-free locations but will grow in partial shade.
Water moderately while waiting for the substrate to dry. They need high humidity; Place a plate with wet pebbles under the pot.
Jatropha integerrima will need a good quality well-draining somewhat acidic potting soil.
