The Araucaria genus is comprised of approximately 19 species of pine-like conifer trees indigenous to the southern hemisphere. It has a graceful pyramidal shape with graceful, wide-spaced branches symmetrically arranged in whorled, horizontal tiers around a single straight trunk.
It grows best in open, full sun locations with ample room for its large size, in any well-drained soil type. Outdoors, and surface roots may interfere with lawn mowing or lifting sidewalks and large cones create litter.

These plants need direct bright light for their growth, as well as survival.Araucaria Heterophylla does not require more water for its growth, but watering it with enough water is important. Maintain a regular watering schedule to keep the soil moist.Sandy-clayey, loose, and well permeable soil is preferable.10 - 22 °CDuring the main growth phase, you should spoil your Star Pine every 14 days with a liquid fertilizer.
