Acalypha wilkesiana is an evergreen shrub. The ‘Louisiana Red variety has more oval leaves and long, copper-green flowers. Each leaf is different, like a miniature masterpiece of nature. Copperleaf plants like full sun to part shade - and the more sun, the brighter the leaf color.
Keep a regular watering schedule for these shrubs. If they stay too dry for too long they won't look their best.
This houseplant grows best in organically rich soil mixed with a good amount of compost.
The ideal growing temperature should be above 60 degrees Fahrenheit (15° C).
Apply organic fertilizer once in two months. -
