Agave americana is a unique succulent plant native to Mexico. These are large plants with loose, open, trunkless rosettes. In many gardens Agave americana is best grown in containers. The gigantic leaf-rosettes of these splendid succulents rank them among the most popular accent plants for modern gardens.

However, it is very important not to keep the soil soggy.Agaves will tolerate most soils as long as they have good drainage, but their preference is sandy or rocky soil.15 - 25 °CWhen in growth, feed with any balanced complete fertilizer with micronutrients once or twice a month.
