Agave americana is a unique succulent plant native to Mexico. These are large plants with loose, open, trunkless rosettes. Succulent of the genus agave also known as Centuryplant marginata , Agave americana marginata perennial evergreen plant, the plant dies after the bloom and the young plant grow instead and also used as ornamental and medical plant also drought tolerant, can grow in the desert, subtropical, Mediterranean, tropic or temperate climate.
Agave americana is hardy enough for the most exposed courtyard or balcony. Agave americana makes a dramatic statement in the landscape and is much favoured for use in rock gardens. In many gardens, Agave americana is best grown in containers. The gigantic leaf-rosettes of these splendid succulents rank them among the most popular accent plants for modern gardens.

However, it is very important not to keep the soil soggy.Agaves will tolerate most soils as long as they have good drainage, but their preference is sandy or rocky soil.15 - 25 °CWhen in growth, feed with any balanced complete fertilizer with micronutrients once or twice a month.
