Brunfelsia also called “Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow”, is a nice summer-blooming shrub. This amazing plant changes the colours of its flowers in three short days, shifting from violet to white. It also bears beautiful evergreen leafage. Landscapers love Brunfelsia latifolia in warm tropical climates. They are easy to grow because they can be planted in pots or in-ground the outdoors.
The true beauty of brunfelsia is in its flowers. When they first open they are a violet colour, fading to lavender blue and then white, with the three colours present on the bush at the same time. How extraordinary that a plant can be covered in three different coloured flowers at once!

Brunfelsia enjoys full sun or partial shade.
Whether you grow Brunfelsia outdoors or in containers, it is essential that the soil is consistently moist but never soggy.
The soil should be moist, acidic, and fertile, with a high amount of organic matter and good drainage.
