Calathea sanderiana is loved for its of kind foliage and tropical beauty. Although a little temperamental, it is not difficult to master its growing requirements. This pet-friendly plant has beautiful glossy leaves that are dark green in colour with pink and white lines which almost look hand-painted!
A single Calathea can instantly change the look of your home. It adds texture and colour to your minimalist decor. You can also group different species of Calatheas together to make a pretty green corner which is so soothing to the eye. We highly recommend using a lighter monochrome or our gold metallic planter for the Calathea.

Calatheas prefer bright, indirect sunlight. Keep your Calathea away from direct sunlight at all times.
They need constant misting & watering only if the soil is dry 2 inches down.
This plant needs a mixture of perlite and coco peat to give good growth.

Apply any organic fertilizer once or twice during the growing season. -
