Clerodendrum is a genus of flowering plants in the Lamiaceae family. This shrub grows very fast and can be planted in a hedge, a shrub bed, or a pot on a balcony, deck, or terrace. The plant is tough - akes trimming well, and hence, is commonly used as a hedge plant.
Lerodendrum inerme is a sun-loving plant and a sunny spot should be chosen for it. The plant produces suckers and seeds. For making hedges, a large number of well-developed plants are required and, therefore, new plants can be produced through cuttings.

The Clerodemdrum Inerme grows well in filtered sunlight or partial shade.Water plants freely in summer, but never allow the pot to stand in water. Do not overwater.The soil needs to be slightly acidic, well-drained, rich, and loamy.15 – 35 °CApply liquid fertilizer or slow-release fertilizer once a month.
