Dianthus is a hardy plant that offers rich, fragrant flowers during the spring to early summer and continues to spot flowers during the growing season. These flowers are known as pinks or clove pinks and they belong to the carnation family.
They are used in the gardens as border plants or as potted display plants. They are small and grow up to a height of 6 to 16 inches. These highly fragrant flowers are normally seen in different shades of red and white to pink colors with contrasting grass like blue-green foliage. They also make good cut flowers and have a lovely, clove-like scent.

Dianthus do best in full sunlight.Dianthus has to be watered when its soil is dry.Grow dianthus in well-drained compost.15 – 25 °CFeed your palm year-round with a liquid fertilizer.
