- Echinocactus Grusonii thrives in a bright or sunny spot.Water infrequently and ensure that the soil drains completely. Do not leave any water sitting in the tray or allow them to sit in water.A soil containing sand or clay is ideal. Alternatively, it is an option to add cactus soil to normal flowerbed soil.15 – 30 °CFeed these plants every four weeks with a high-potassium fertilizer.
